Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of food handling, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area, following food safety guidelines at all times.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and handle special requests professionally.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as needed,
including inventory checks and restocking supplies.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; familiarity with serving and bartending is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively without compromising service quality.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and managing tabs accurately.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with cash handling and food industry best practices is highly desirable.
