Position: Healthcare Business Analyst (Healthcare Transformation, Clinical Information Systems, EMR)
Location: Remote (Canada) with occasional travel as required
Structure: Full time Contract (2 Years + Possible Extension)
Compensation: Up to $78/hr

We have an exciting opportunity to support one of our public sector consulting partners on a major healthcare transformation initiative.

Our client is seeking experienced Healthcare Business Analysts to support large-scale healthcare modernization projects, including initiatives related to Clinical Information Systems (CIS) and the future implementation of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solution.

This role is ideal for a Business Analyst with extensive experience working in healthcare environments, partnering directly with clinical stakeholders, and leading business analysis activities throughout the full project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

5+ years leading Business Analysis activities on large-scale healthcare and/or government transformation initiatives

3+ years working directly with clinical stakeholders, including physicians, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, allied health, and operational leaders

Strong experience with:

- Requirements elicitation and management

- Stakeholder engagement

- Workshop facilitation

- Business process analysis

- Workflow and use case development

- Gap analysis

- Solution design support

- Impact assessments

- Business and technical documentation

Experience supporting enterprise Clinical Information Systems (CIS)

Knowledge of downstream clinical applications and integrations including:

- Laboratory

- Pharmacy

- Diagnostic Imaging

- Cardiology

- Registration

- Scheduling

- Nursing

Strong communication,



facilitation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and clinical teams

Willingness to travel occasionally as required

Nice-to-Have:

Experience supporting enterprise healthcare technology environments

Bilingual (English/French)

CBAP certification

PMP or PMI certification

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Experience presenting to executive leadership, governance committees, and clinical stakeholders

Experience supporting Electronic Medical Record (EMR) initiatives

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead business analysis activities across large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives

Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with clinical and business stakeholders

Analyze current and future-state business processes and clinical workflows

Develop business requirements, user stories, workflows, and use cases

Perform gap analysis and support solution design activities

Prepare business and technical analysis documentation

Support Clinical Information Systems (CIS) and related healthcare technology initiatives

Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, clinical leaders, and technical teams

Assess business impacts and recommend process improvements

Support the implementation of enterprise healthcare technology solutions, including future EMR initiatives
