Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. This role involves maintaining calibration records, conducting final product releases, and performing receiving inspections to ensure compliance with our quality management system.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain and manage calibration records for all inspection and measurement equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
· Conduct final inspection and release of products, verifying that they meet specifications before shipment.
· Perform receiving inspections of incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
· Utilize tools such as Vernier calipers, height gauges, gauge blocks/pins and shadow-graphs for accurate measurement and inspection.
· Understand and apply GD&T; principles to ensure proper interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
· Sign off on shipping documentation, confirming that products meet all required quality criteria.
· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
· Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives to maintain our AS9100D certification.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is an asset.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance within the aerospace industry.
· Familiarity with calibration processes and maintenance of calibration records.
· Proficient in using inspection tools including Vernier calipers, height gauges, and shadow-graphs.
· Strong understanding of GD&T.;
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Pay: $20.00-$31.00 per hour
