What You'll Do

As a Boom Truck Driver, you'll play an important role in helping contractors, builders, and homeowners complete their projects.

Your day may include:

- Safely delivering building materials to residential and commercial job sites.
- Operating a boom truck to load and unload materials accurately and safely.
- Inspecting vehicles and equipment before each shift.
- Planning safe and efficient delivery routes.
- Working closely with the yard team to ensure orders are complete and secure.
- Providing qualified, friendly customer service on every delivery.
- Following all transportation, safety, and company policies.
- Assisting in the yard when deliveries are complete.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

- Takes pride in safe, professional driving.
- Enjoys working independently while being part of a strong team.
- Has excellent customer service skills.
- Is dependable and punctual.
- Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Can safely handle building materials in a fast-paced environment.
- Values safety and attention to detail.

Qualifications

- Experience operating boom trucks or commercial vehicles is an asset.
- Ability to safely load, secure, and transport building materials.
- Knowledge of Nova Scotia road regulations is an asset.
- Clean driver's abstract.
