Position Overview:
We are currently hiring Traffic Control Persons (Flaggers) to join our field operations team. This is an essential front-line role responsible for the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists in active work zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and dismantle temporary traffic control devices (signs, cones, barrels)
- Direct traffic safely through and around work zones using hand signals and signs
- Communicate clearly with other crew members to coordinate safe traffic flow
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to Book 7 (Ontario Traffic Manual) regulations
- Remain alert and responsive to changing traffic and site conditions
- Maintain a professional demeanor with the public and worksite personnel
Qualifications:
- Valid Traffic Control Person OTM Book7 certification as per Ontario standards preferred
- Experience as a TCP/flagger or in road construction preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused
- Valid G driver’s license and access to transportation preferred
Union Membership:
This is a unionized position under LiUNA Local 183. All wages, benefits, and pension contributions are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Pay: $27.87-$38.27 per hour
