Our residential students look forward to nutritious, comforting meals that feel like home, and we are looking for a talented Weekend Cook to bring creativity and care to our weekend dinner service.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Weekend Cook to prepare healthy, balanced, and diverse dinners for our students. Working Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, you will independently manage meal preparation in our school kitchen, package the food safely, and transport it to the student residence to serve.

Key Responsibilities

- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare healthy, balanced, and diverse weekend dinners in the school kitchen.
- Dietary Accommodations: Safely navigate and accommodate various food sensitivities, restrictions, and allergies to ensure every student has a safe meal.
- Logistics & Service:



Securely pack and transport prepared meals from the school kitchen to the student residence, and serve the students.
- Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain exceptional cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring all food handling and sanitation standards are strictly followed.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Proven experience in commercial cooking, meal planning, or catering. Experience catering to diverse dietary needs is highly valued.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required to transport meals to the residence.
- Background Check: A clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory for employment, as we operate within a school setting.
- Skills: Ability to work independently with excellent time management and organizational skills.
