As our Trucking and Logistics Manager, you’ll be a hands‑on part of the daily operations that keep the farm running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the team to support production excellence, maintain equipment, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain semi trucks and trailers.
- Assist with seeding, spraying, and harvest.
- Support grain handling, storage, and quality control processes.
- Perform general maintenance, mechanical repairs, welding, carpentry, and other hands‑on tasks.
- Maintain equipment through seasonal prep (including winterizing) and preventative maintenance.
- Complete daily equipment checks, logbooks, and basic record‑keeping.
- Follow all farm safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate promptly and honestly about equipment issues, breakdowns, or safety concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the Farm Manager and team to meet daily production targets and task expectations.
- Support proper storage, conditioning, and handling of grain.
- Maintain accuracy in inventory tracking, moisture checks, and grain quality standards.




- Participate in training and ongoing skill development to continuously improve performance.

What you bring

- Previous grain farming experience.
- Experience operating large farm machinery.
- Mechanical aptitude — comfort with equipment troubleshooting, small repairs, welding, or carpentry is an asset.
- Honest, hardworking, dependable, and willing to take initiative.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Class 1A is required.
- Must have own vehicle (farm trucks available for farm use).

Working conditions

- 40–60 hours per week, with overtime during peak seasons.
- Fast‑paced environment with tight timelines and shifting priorities.
- Year‑round outdoor work (heat, cold, dust, humidity).
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Rural/remote work setting.
