QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Completion of High School (or equivalent) is required. Candidates will have and must maintain a good safety record. The ability to perform various types of physical labour including moderate to heavy lifting, standing, bending, and shoveling is also required. The successful candidate must also possess a sound understanding of safety regulations, protected work practices and be knowledgeable in the safe operation and maintenance of various related equipment and tools. (e.g., Forklifts, Bobcats, jackhammers, drills, grinders etc.) The successful applicant must also be able to work independently and in a team environment. The possession of an unrestricted driver’s licence is an ongoing condition of employment.

This posting is for a Hiring Pool to fill future vacancies.

EXPERIENCE: 2 years’ experience, as a labourer in either the construction or mining industries is preferred.

HOURS OF WORK





The successful candidate will be required to participate in shift work in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement.
