Lancashire Distribution, a wholesale building material supplier to the cabinet industry and retail lumber yards, is looking to hire a professional class 1A day driver. We are looking to hire a committed long term employee to deliver goods within southern Alberta and British Columbia.

Responsibilities

Maintain an e-log

Do daily pre-trip and post trip inspections on both truck and trailer

Follow the highway traffic laws as set out by the DOT.

Accurately deliver outgoing freight to lumber yards and cabinets shops.

Requirements

A valid class 1A license, prefer a clean abstract

Have mountain driving experience

Must be able to manually unload goods (hardware etc) when no forklift is available.

Able to lift 75 lbs by hand is required





Must be reliable and punctual and wear ppe as required by company policy manual

One night per week overnight travel required, weather dependant.

Position details

Compensation dependant on candidates experience and qualifications

Benefit package available to qualified candidate after successful completion of mandatory probation period.
