Job Overview
Seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal or Alberta Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician or Millwright including a Lead technician and for shop and field. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in repair and maintenance of frac pumps and engines. These roles requires a commitment to quality work and excellent customer service, as you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of various machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Work and mentor apprentices

Skills

- Proven experience in O&G;
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment related to the Fracking industry
- Engine repair of bearing rolls, cylinder head replacements, piston packs, camshafts, oil coolers, turbo replacement
- Testing units




- Repair diesel and bi-fuel engines including transmission and hydraulic issues
- Engine experience: CAT 3512, Cummins QSK50, Detroit 60 and MTU Engines
- Transmission experience: CAT TH48 and TH55
- Experience with frac equipment and Truck/trailer units
- Familiar with diagnostic software
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions.

Must have

- Red Seal or Alberta Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment ticket or Millwright
- Must have knowledge of computer diagnostics
- Must have a current class 5 driver's license and able to provide a 5 year clean driver's abstract

Work Schedule

- 5/2rotation or 8/6 rotation for shop in Red Deer
- 15/13 or 15/6 for field position to be in Grandd Prairie
- 7 am to 4:30 pm Day shifts shop or 10+ hour shifts for field
- Overtime pay
