Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety regulations are met
- Collaborate with team members to deliver effective service during busy hours
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor, texture, and presentation
- Support the overall operation by restocking supplies and maintaining equipment functionality
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments with a focus on food preparation and cooking
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation processes within the food industry
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude toward team members and customers
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Prior experience in food industry roles such as line cook or prep cook is highly desirable
