Along The Edge Experiences, created and run by lifelong and local fisherman Jim Conohan and his wife Gen, provides one-of-a-kind P.E.I. shellfish experiences to guests from all over the globe. Decades of knowledge and stories about the P.E.I. fishing industries are brought to life for guests on our beautiful waterfront property along the Boughton River. We are looking for someone to help assist in the operation of our client experiences, as our current employee will be returning to university in the Fall. This is a seasonal position, beginning from September 1st to October 17th. We also run an artisanal woodworking business called Along The Edge Juniper Works, which you may be asked to assist with if needed. We occasionally receive last-minute bookings, so the ideal candidate would have flexible availability and consistent access to a vehicle. A PEI Food Safety Course is required, but if you do not have it, we will pay for you to obtain the certification.
Experience in the food and/or tourist sectors is an asset but not required, as you will receive training.
