Job Overview
The Sales and Production Manager is a key leadership role in our small business, responsible for overseeing day-to-day production while actively supporting and driving sales. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who understands embellishment operations and enjoys working directly with customers to grow accounts and ensure exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities Production & Operations

- Manage daily production for embroidery, screen printing, and heat transfer
- Schedule jobs, prioritize workloads, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
- Review job details, artwork, proofs, and garment specifications before production
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them efficiently
- Maintain quality standards and minimize reprints and waste

Team Leadership

- Supervise and train a small production team
- Assign tasks and ensure accountability in a fast-paced workplace
- Lead by example with a hands-on, team-first approach
- Enforce safety, quality, and operational standards

Sales & Customer Relations

- Work directly with customers to quote jobs, recommend decoration methods, and close sales
- Manage repeat accounts and help grow existing customer relationships
- Assist with incoming leads, walk-in customers, and order follow-ups
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding timelines, pricing, and expectations
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (additional garments, decoration locations,



etc.)

Inventory & Equipment

- Monitor inventory of garments, inks, thread, and supplies
- Coordinate ordering to meet production and sales needs
- Oversee basic equipment maintenance and service scheduling

Business Support & Growth

- Support the owner with pricing input, production estimates, and capacity planning
- Track basic production and sales metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and profitability
- Contribute ideas to help grow sales and streamline operations

Qualifications

Required

- 5+ years of experience in an embellishment or apparel decoration environment
- Working knowledge of embroidery and/or screen printing processes
- Experience working directly with customers and handling quotes or orders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small business setting

Preferred

- Sales experience in custom apparel or promotional products
- Familiarity with artwork setup, digitizing, or print separations
- Experience in a small business or startup environment

Work Environment

- Hands-on role working on the production floor and with customers
- Standing, lifting, and movement throughout the day
- Occasional overtime during busy seasons

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
