We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dog Groomer to join our pet care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing exceptional grooming services to ensure our clients' pets look and feel their best. This role involves working closely with dogs of various breeds and sizes, delivering professional grooming in a friendly and efficient manner. The Dog Groomer will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being and appearance of our furry clients, contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

- Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs to maintain cleanliness and coat health
- Trimming and styling fur according to breed standards or customer preferences
- Cleaning ears, clipping nails, and performing other grooming tasks as needed
- Handling dogs gently and confidently to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions




- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery
- Assisting with heavy lifting of large or heavy dogs when necessary, ensuring proper handling techniques are used

Requirements

- Prior experience in dog bathing and or grooming or related pet care fields is mandatory mandatory
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns
- Ability to handle dogs of various temperaments with patience and compassion
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during grooming sessions
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality pet care services

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
