Job Summary
Teach one-on-one or small group lessons for
- IB Economics HL
- AP Economics
Responsibilities
- Teach and reinforce core economic concepts, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and development economics
- Help students develop strong economic analysis, evaluation, diagramming, and written-response skills
- Prepare students for IB Economics assessments, Internal Assessment (IA), and IB exams, and/or AP Economics exams
- Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement and develop personalized learning plans
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with students and parents
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching IB/AP Economics
Schedule
Flexible, part-time schedule.
Location
545 Clyde Ave. West Vancouver
In-person tutoring required.
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
