Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Chainsaw Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating chainsaws to perform various forestry, landscaping, and maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help maintain healthy landscapes, clear pathways, and support infrastructure projects. Duties

- Safely operate chainsaws to cut trees, shrubs, and other vegetation in accordance with safety protocols and project specifications
- Perform rigging tasks to secure and maneuver heavy limbs or logs using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as pruning, trimming, and clearing debris to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Use GIS technology to map and document work sites, track vegetation management progress, and support project planning
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket operations for elevated pruning or tree removal tasks
- Support the setup and use of bucket trucks for accessing hard-to-reach areas safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of tools, equipment,



and safety gear to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members on project planning, site preparation, and cleanup efforts to ensure timely completion of tasks

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating chainsaws safely in forestry or landscaping environments
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting or securing heavy limbs or logs
- Familiarity with GIS software for mapping and documentation purposes
- Experience with bucket truck operation and bucket work safety procedures
- Background in landscape maintenance or horticulture is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tree cutting, rigging, and equipment use
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
