About Us

The Polly Fox is a dedicated gluten-free bakery and bistro that has been serving the Abbotsford community since 2016. Everything we make is 100% gluten-free and prepared in a fully celiac-safe kitchen — and we take real pride in the care and craft behind that. We're a small, close-knit team that treats quality and cleanliness as non-negotiables, and we're looking for a Line Cook who shares that standard.

The Role

As our Line Cook, you'll be a key part of the daily kitchen operation — building sandwiches, prepping the line, and helping run our breakfast service. This is a hands-on role for someone who works clean, moves with purpose, and cares about putting out food they'd be proud to serve.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and assemble our menu of sandwiches to spec, consistently and quickly
- Set up and stock the line ahead of service, and keep it organized throughout the day
- Assist with breakfast service — cooking, plating, and keeping up with the morning rush
- Follow strict celiac-safe protocols to prevent any cross-contamination (training provided)
- Keep your station and the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized to health-code standards
- Support the team wherever needed during busy periods

What We're Looking For





- Previous kitchen or line cook experience is an asset (we'll train the right person)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while staying accurate and clean
- Robust attention to detail — especially around food safety and cross-contamination
- A reliable, team-first attitude and consistent punctuality
- FOODSAFE Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain it)
- Able to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of a kitchen
