Stepping Up Daycare Inc. is looking for a caring, organized, and motivated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our leadership team as a Part-Time Assistant Supervisor.

In this role, you will support the Supervisor with the daily operations of our licensed child care centre while helping to provide a protected, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

- Support the day-to-day operations of the centre.
- Provide leadership and guidance to educators.
- Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and Ministry of Education licensing requirements.
- Assist with staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and ratio management.
- Support family communication and maintain positive relationships.
- Assist with administrative duties, documentation, and licensing requirements.




- Step into classrooms as needed to support quality care and programming.

Qualifications

- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed child care setting.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
