Kitchen Helper / Line Cook

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Helper / Line Cook to join our team in a rapid-paced Mediterranean restaurant. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and passionate about preparing quality food while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assist with daily food preparation
- Cook and assemble shawarma wraps, plates, and other menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner rushes
- Support other team members as needed

Requirements





- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a commercial kitchen (shawarma or Mediterranean restaurant experience is an asset)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
