Brenta Construction Inc. brings over 30 years of experience as a reliable concrete forming contractor in Metro Vancouver. We specialize in complex projects such as parkades, high-rises, pools, community centers, and commercial buildings, including the supply and installation of tower cranes.

We are looking for an experienced CONSTRUCTION LAY-OUT/DETAILER to join our team.

Jobsite Location: Langley, Surrey, Delta area.

Responsibilities

- Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings for formwork planning.
- Prepare accurate and detailed layout drawings for footings,walls, slabs, beams, columns, etc. and update it based on site changes, RFIs, or updated design instructions.
- Identify potential conflicts or discrepancies in drawings and produce an RFI.
- Maintain organized drawing sets,RFI's and SI's.
- Mark layout lines in office or provide support to site team for layout verification
- Coordinate with the site superintendent, foreman, and formwork carpenters to ensure constructability.
- Use AutoCAD software(Revit,Bluebeam or similar)



for drafting and detailing
- Understand and apply different formwork systems (e.g., PERI, Doka) as per project needs.
- Assist with additional duties as required by the project team or site conditions.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in lay-out/detailing or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, Bluebeam, or Total Station layout is an asset)
- Strong understanding of concrete formwork systems and construction sequencing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
