Mandarin & English | 2-Week Contract | California Travel Required

About the Role

HiMarketing is hiring a bilingual Content Project Coordinator for a short-term nutraceutical ingredient sourcing and traceability project.

The project will last approximately two weeks, including one week of remote preparation and five days of business travel in California. Scripts, interview questions, and the filming plan will be prepared in advance.

The main responsibility is to work with the project lead, guide the overseas filming team, and ensure that all required footage is captured in a way that is suitable for the Chinese market.

This is not a professional translation, camera operation, or video editing position.

Position Details

- Job Type: Short-term contract / Project-based
- Project Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
- California Travel Dates: August 24–28, 2026
- Compensation: CAD $2,000 gross for the full project
- Work Arrangement: Remote preparation and on-site travel
- Travel Expenses: Covered by the company
- Travel Insurance: Covered by the company
- Confidentiality: A confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement must be signed before project materials are provided

Responsibilities

- Review the project background, ingredient information, scripts, interview questions, filming plan, and content requirements before the trip.
- Understand the project’s target audience and the presentation style required for the Chinese market.
- Prepare and follow an on-site footage checklist.
- Travel with the project lead to California from August 24 to August 28.
- Guide the overseas filming team on interview focus, visual presentation, and required footage.
- Check footage during filming to confirm that all important interviews, scenes, close-ups, and supporting materials have been captured.
- Identify missing, unclear,



or unusable footage and arrange additional filming while still on site.
- Keep clear notes on completed content, missing materials, and follow-up items.
- Organize project notes and provide a brief summary after the trip.

Qualifications

- Fluent or near-native proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Experience in content marketing, video production coordination, project operations, or brand marketing.
- Strong understanding of Chinese audiences and Chinese-language commercial content.
- Able to understand scripts and identify whether the footage is sufficient for post-production.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with an overseas filming team in a fast-paced travel environment.
- Fully available for the California trip from August 24 to August 28, 2026.
- Legally able to enter the United States for business travel.
- Willing to sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

- Experience in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, health products, functional foods, pharmaceuticals, or food ingredients.
- Relevant marketing or content-production cases.
- Experience with factory visits, farms, laboratories, sourcing projects, interviews, or brand traceability content.
- Familiarity with Chinese social media and short-form video content.
