We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Truck Mechanic Helper to join our dynamic maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Support skilled mechanics in diagnosing and repairing trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, and fluid checks
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools, parts, and schematics for efficient workflow
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used for each service task
Skills
- Previous dealership or heavy equipment repair experience highly preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and other industrial equipment safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for HVAC systems and welding processes is a plus
- Excellent physical strength for heavy lifting and manual tasks in a demanding environment
- Experience working with automotive or industrial schematics to diagnose issues accurately
- Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving
