We are seeking a energetic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long and short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs, delivery receipts, and freight manifests
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in top condition
- Operate heavy equipment like forklifts to load or unload cargo efficiently when required
Requirements
- USA visa is must.
- 2 year experience of truck driving.
- 1 year experience of flatbed is mandatory.
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issue.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
