Your Opportunity

The primary responsibilities of this position include:





- Provide Food Services for fall events at Kelso and Mountsberg
- Prepare and serve various food items, following proper food handling procedures
- Ensure safe operation of all equipment – Grill, Deep Fryers, BBQ, Beverage machines
- Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including stock room, cooking area, dry storage and dishwashing area
- Notify supervisor or Lead when additional inventory is required. Re stocking display areas as needed.
- Greet customers and respond to inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner
- Process payments following established cash handling procedures
- Assist with receiving and stocking food & drink deliveries
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food industry and customer service is preferred
- Interest in hospitality, restaurant, resort management is an asset
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with both customers and various levels of Conservation Halton Staff
- Previous point of sale, Clover device, and cash handling experience are an asset
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings, nights and holidays), depending on visitation levels
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, on varied terrain
- Successful candidates are required to provide a Criminal Record Check (CRC), to verify the absence of a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted (if over 18 years old). *Cost covered by Conservation Halton up to $30.00.
- Food Handler and/or Smart Serve Certificates are an asset
- CH parks are not accessible by public transit; candidates should ensure they have reliable transportation.
