We’re looking for a highly capable, organized, and trustworthy Personal Chef / Household Manager for a private family in Victoria.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day details that keep the home running smoothly.

This is not a traditional cleaning position. The family already has a house cleaner, and we are looking for someone who can focus on food, the kitchen, and household management.

PERSONAL CHEF

Food quality and nutrition are extremely important to this family. We are looking for someone who is passionate about preparing high-quality, healthy meals from scratch.

The family follows a very specific approach to food:

- Organic ingredients only
- No nitrates or nitrites
- High-quality meats, produce, and ingredients
- Very conscious of sourcing and food quality
- Fresh, healthy, family-friendly meals
- Lunch and dinner are the main priority
- Cooking fresh meals rather than traditional meal prep
- Managing grocery lists, grocery shopping, and keeping the kitchen stocked
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently

The ideal person should be comfortable sourcing quality ingredients, reading labels, planning meals, and creating nutritious meals the family can feel good about eating.

HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT

In addition to cooking, we’re looking for someone who can help manage the details of the household, including:

- Grocery shopping and household supplies
- Coordinating trades, repairs, and maintenance
- Booking and managing household services




- Keeping track of household needs and upcoming tasks
- Managing deliveries and errands
- Garbage and recycling
- Organizing household spaces when needed
- Making sure the home stays stocked, organized, and running smoothly
- Coordinating contractors and ensuring work gets completed properly

The house already has regular cleaning support. This role would primarily focus on the kitchen, food, organization, and overall household management.

You are:

- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive and independent
- A talented cook who cares about food quality
- Knowledgeable about healthy eating and ingredient sourcing
- Comfortable managing a household without needing constant direction
- Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable
- Someone who notices things that need to be done and takes care of them
- Comfortable around a young child and a family environment

Experience as a private chef, household manager, estate manager, executive assistant, or similar role would be an asset.

We’re looking for someone who could become a long-term, trusted part of the household.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
