Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsible for picking, packing, and moving materials to support project and sales orders. Must help maintain accurate inventory counts, ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory, and handle general warehouse tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Pick parts accurately for sales orders and projects
- Package and label inventory for shipments
- Count and verify stock levels; track discrepancies
- Operate a forklift for material handling (license considered an asset)
- Assist with parts assembly / light machine work
- Receive shipments; confirm quantities against purchase orders
- Maintain a safe, organized work area
- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs. as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Forklift license (asset)
- Proficiency in operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in order picking and inventory counts.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- WHMIS training (asset)
- Overhead crane license (asset)
- Basic computer skills
