Job Summary

Duties

- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service from kitchen to front-of-house.
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling staff to maximize productivity.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and food safety regulations.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures across all areas of the restaurant.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a positive dining experience.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and oversee food storage to minimize waste and control costs.
- Implement restaurant policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain high standards of hospitality.

Requirements





- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations with relevant restaurant management expertise.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Extensive food service experience including serving, food handling, and ensuring food safety compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Knowledge of restaurant management practices including inventory control, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices.
- Experience with interviewing potential team members and managing staff schedules effectively.
- Additional skills such as barista or hotel experience are considered valuable assets that can enhance your success in this role.
