Gen AI Architect

Location: Newark, NJ (3 days onsite)
Salary: $160-180K (possible stretch to 200k) USD Base
Experience Required: 10–15 years (17 max — beyond that is a dealbreaker)

Project Details

Building out enterprise AI initiatives for large BFSI clients focused on GenAI adoption, scalable AI platforms, and enterprise-grade cloud architecture.

This is a hands-on architecture role where the person will work directly with clients, internal engineering teams, and offshore developers to design and deliver production AI solutions on Azure.

Must-Haves

- 10–15 years of software engineering / architecture experience

- Strong hands-on Azure architecture experience (mandatory)

- Experience building enterprise GenAI solutions (LLMs, RAG, vector DBs,



AI orchestration)

- Strong understanding of scalable cloud architecture, APIs, microservices, and production deployments

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with Azure OpenAI, AKS, App Services, API Management

- Experience with React/Next.js and modern backend systems

- Solid DevOps understanding (CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform)

- Experience working with offshore/global engineering teams

- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
