Position Summary
Overlander Mountain Lodge is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team at Overlander Mountain Lodge and Jasper East Cabins. Located in the scenic Canadian Rockies, this role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting smooth daily operations across both properties. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
- Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage reservations and room assignments
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
- Provide information on lodge amenities and local attractions
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role preferred, ideally in a lodge, hotel, or resort setting
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Genuine interest in hospitality and working in a natural, scenic setting
