THE OPPERTUNITY

Role Overview

The Development Coordinator supports the execution of multiple real estate projects from acquisition and design through construction and occupancy. This role bridges technical, financial, and organizational workstreams—ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and an interest in advancing toward a Development Manager role.

You will work closely with the General Manager and rest of the team to assist with project coordination, financial modeling, consultant management,



and municipal approvals.

Key Responsibilities

· Support project execution from design development through permitting, financing, and construction.

· Prepare and maintain proformas, budgets, schedules and cash flow models.

· Coordinate consultants, contractors, and municipal departments to ensure timely project delivery.

· Draft and track development applications, meeting notes, and correspondence.

· Assist in preparing investor reports, presentations, and internal briefing documents.

· Conduct research on comparable projects, zoning regulations, and market trends.

· Maintain organized project documentation and version control across consultants and internal teams.

· Support tendering, cost review, and value engineering processes.

· Coordinate meetings and maintain records, agendas, and minutes.

· Assist with any other tasks as required by the team and within the employee’s capabilities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

· 1-3 years of experience in real estate development, project management, finance, or related field.

· Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

· Proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and general financial literacy.

· Familiarity with municipal permitting processes in BC.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

· Experience coordinating consultants and reviewing drawings an asset.





· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

· A genuine interest in design, construction, development, and hospitality is highly valued.

Other Information

Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000. Actual salary will depend on experience, skills and qualifications.

A skill test related to real estate development, financial modeling, and investment presentations will be conducted during the interview process.

This role will evolve over time based on business needs and is a great opportunity to learn and take on new challenges to grow your skills.
