About Us

We specialize in small infill apartment buildings, row housing, garden suites, and rental communities. We manage dozens of projects simultaneously and are looking for an organized Construction Coordinator to become the operational hub between our office and construction sites.

This is not an entry-level administrative role. You'll be responsible for keeping projects moving by coordinating permits, inspections, trades, suppliers, schedules, and documentation.

Responsibilities

- Own all construction scheduling from permit through completion.
- Coordinate daily with site superintendents, trades, suppliers, consultants, and inspectors.
- Track project schedules and identify delays before they impact completion dates.
- Schedule City of Edmonton and third-party inspections.
- Coordinate permit applications, revisions, and responses to deficiencies.
- Issue purchase orders and track deliveries.
- Maintain construction logs, project documentation, and progress reports through our construction management software
- Track deficiencies and ensure timely completion.
- Assist with lender draw documentation and progress reporting.
- Coordinate utility installations and service connections.
- Monitor budgets, change orders, and outstanding invoices.
- Prepare weekly construction status reports for management.
- Ensure all projects remain organized and up to date.

Qualifications





- 3+ years of residential construction coordination, project coordination, or project management experience.
- Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing.
- Experience working with permits and inspections is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, BuildTopia, or similar software is considered an asset.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.

- Residential infill construction.
- Multifamily construction.
- Working with municipalities and consultants.
- Scheduling trades and suppliers.
- Reading construction drawings.

Compensation

- $70,000–$95,000 annually (based on experience)

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
