Part-Time Automotive Sales Assistant / Sales Coordinator

About the Position

We are looking for an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Part-Time Automotive Sales Assistant / Sales Coordinator to support our vehicle sales operation in Burnaby.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in the automotive industry. You will help coordinate customers, appointments, vehicles, listings, paperwork, and daily sales activities.

Automotive experience is an asset but is not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, text, email, and online platforms
- Schedule sales appointments and follow up with prospective customers
- Greet customers and coordinate their dealership visits
- Maintain customer information and follow-up notes in the dealership CRM
- Assist the sales team with vehicle information, availability, and customer updates
- Prepare and update online vehicle listings
- Help organize vehicle photos, descriptions, and inventory information
- Coordinate vehicle clean-up, inspections, keys, and display arrangements
- Assist with vehicle delivery appointments and ensure vehicles are ready for pickup
- Collect and organize required customer and vehicle documents
- Help ensure sales and financing files are complete




- Perform general administrative and sales-support duties as required

Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and follow-ups
- Comfortable using computers, email, text messaging, and online systems
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and committed to accurate work
- Willing to learn about vehicles and the automotive sales process
- Previous customer service, administrative, retail, or sales experience is an asset
- Dealership or automotive experience is an asset but not required
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred

Schedule

- Part-time position
- Approximately 25–30 hours per week
- Flexible daytime and early evening shifts
- Some weekend availability may be required
- Exact schedule will be discussed during the interview
