Position: Sterilization/Hygiene Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team at Ironwood Dental Centre, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Specifics about the role:

- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Compensation: $20-25/hour
- Additional perks: Bonuses and Uniform Allowance

What you’ll do:

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to clinic and industry protocols.
- Maintain proper functioning of sterilization equipment and ensure regular documentation of cycles.
- Organize and restock operatories to keep the clinic running smoothly.
- Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials.
- Support the clinical team to ensure every patient receives care in a safe and prepared environment.

What you’ll bring to the role:





- Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare sterilization/infection control role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
