What You'll Do

- Assist veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians with patient care
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Take and process diagnostic radiographs
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostic testing
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
- Safely handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Educate clients on medications, home care, nutrition, and preventative health
- Maintain accurate medical records




- Assist with reception duties, including answering phones, booking appointments, and providing excellent customer service when needed

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital (2+ years preferred)
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills
- Experience with laboratory procedures, radiography, and patient care is an asset
- Friendly, compassionate, and professional with clients and coworkers
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs
- Fluent in English
