Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering, cash handling, and providing correct change
- Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, responding promptly to requests or concerns with a friendly attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food handling stations, and service stations according to food safety regulations
- Assist in basic food preparation or setup when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality or service standards

Skills

- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering tasks
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates welcoming atmospheres
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred to ensure smooth onboarding
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and upselling transactions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Familiarity with food industry standards for serving, food preparation, and guest services
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive interactions
