Dean Group's Manufacturing division is now recruiting for a Custom Manufacturing Assembler for one of our reputable clients in Waterloo.
Role: Custom Manufacturing Assembler (small component assembly)
Location: Waterloo, ON
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Day Shift; 7:30am start (flexibility for slightly earlier or later start times)
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

Position Summary
This role is responsible for assembling, operating, repairing, and troubleshooting specialized inspection equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will help ensure the quality and precision of custom masks and wafer equipment while supporting production and inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems
- Document inspection results and report any anomalies or issues
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting equipment concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and calibration of inspection tools and equipment
- Interpret drawings, training manuals, and work instructions to perform tasks accurately
- Complete final inspection and shipping preparation of finished products
- Assist with inspection, testing, adjusting, and evaluation of incoming electrical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components to ensure compliance with product specifications and tolerances
- Other duties as assigned
