I.P.G. International Protection Group is currently hiring skilled, reliable, and confident Bar & Lounge Security Guards to join our growing team. This part-time position requires availability on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and is based at Downtown Toronto locations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced nightlife environments and are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access at entrances and exits
- Verify identification and enforce legal age requirements
- Maintain order within the venue and handle crowd control
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies professionally
- Conduct routine patrols inside and outside the premises
- Work closely with bar staff and management to ensure safety protocols are followed
- Complete detailed incident reports as required
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (required)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bar,
nightclub, or event security is considered an asset
- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts (weekend availability required)
- Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work at Downtown Toronto locations
