Job Overview
We are seeking onededicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienists( Full time or Part time) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in educating patients about their dental health, performing preventative care, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive treatment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Maxident software.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Manitoba.
- Proficiency in using Maxident or similar dental software systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or dental assisting is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and patient education.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
