Instructing in the AET certificate program and CNH TopTech and the AET JD Tech apprenticeship courses.
Must have your journey certification in Agricultural Equipment and 2 years post journey experience.
You must have experience in a wide variety of current agricultural equipment.
Knowledge of precision farming and guidance systems and supporting technical service support programs is essential New Holland and or Case certifications are beneficial
Delivering and developing online student support material to enhance student learning for AET Saskpolytech students.
Adept at utilizing the manufacturers OEM online technical manuals and support systems.
Utilizing the Web based Brightspace learning platform to deliver program course material in person and online, creating supporting course material and training aids as required.
Delivering courses to students at various start times during the day and weekends.
We are looking for instructor’s to join the AET department, succession planning for existing staff and increased numbers of students

- Provide instruction to students enrolled in the AET program.





- Design and implement a student-centered learning environment using an outcome-based approach in either a face-to-face or online delivery mode.

- Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations using principles of adult learning.

- Develop new curriculum, training aids, and materials as needed.

- Use digital tools proficiently, including general office applications.

- Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using diverse instructional methods.

- Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.

- Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students.

- Be responsive to accommodation of special learning needs, including equity groups and diverse learners.

- Where required, develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers, supporting students in working experience.

- Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements.

- Mentor students related to educational opportunities, industry expectations, and career goals.

- Work co-operatively in an interdependent team environment.

- Attend program and school meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

1. Grade 12 or equivalent.
2. Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in the Agricultural Equipment Technician trade.
3. Two years’ recent/relevant post-journeyperson experience as an Agricultural Equipment Technician.
4. Effective instructional ability.
5. Effective interpersonal skills.
6. Effective communication skills.
7. Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, email, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
8. Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
9. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
