We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager to take ownership of day-to-day plant coordination and production performance:
- Ordering all raw materials and packaging (bottles, caps, labels, cartons, film)Inventory control — receiving, tracking, and cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods Scheduling all production runs to meet customer orders and ship datesScheduling manpower and shift coverage to match the production plan Recording and compiling daily production records — output, run time, downtime, and waste by line and shift Tracking line efficiency against targets, with the goal of achieving and maintaining 75% of operating capacity, and identifying/resolving causes of downtime and lost output Coordinating with customers, suppliers,
and freight on order timing Supporting food safety and quality documentation (SQF environment).
- What We're Looking For 3+ years in production planning, inventory, or supervisory experience in food/beverage manufacturing or similar Experience tracking production KPIs (output, efficiency/OEE, downtime) and reporting on them Robust organizational skills — comfortable juggling multiple orders, suppliers, and deadlines Proficient with spreadsheets and inventory/ERP-style systems Forklift experience an asset Legally entitled to work in Canada /English- Spanish spoken.
