Kildare Renovations is seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer to join our residential renovation team in St. John’s, NL.

The successful candidate will assist with demolition, site preparation, material handling, general construction tasks, and support skilled tradespeople throughout renovation projects. This role requires strong physical stamina, protected tool operation, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist with residential renovation projects, including demolition, preparation, and installation tasks.
- Complete demolition work including removal of drywall, cabinets, flooring, fixtures, and non-structural materials.
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist carpenters and other trades with framing, installations, repairs, and general construction tasks.
- Perform site preparation and maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Remove debris and dispose of construction waste properly.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials as required.
- Follow directions from Project Leads and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.




- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Complete other labour duties as required on renovation sites.

Skills and Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of residential construction or renovation experience preferred.
- Experience with demolition, material handling, and renovation site work.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials, tools, and building processes.
- Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
- Ability to read measurements and use basic measuring tools.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically able to lift and move materials and perform manual labour tasks.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
- Valid driver's licence required.
- Positive work references required.
- Must pass a background check.
- English required.
