Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Framer to join our team. This role involves constructing the structural framework of residential buildings, ensuring safety, precision, and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in carpentry and framing, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse residential projects, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, and contributing to the successful completion of high-quality homes.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine framing requirements.
- Construct wall frames, floors, roofs, and other structural components using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing as needed for foundation work.
- Install siding, woodwork, and other exterior or interior framing elements.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for lifting or moving heavy materials.
- Ensure all framing work complies with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Assist with restoration tasks or modifications during renovation projects.




- Use welding techniques when necessary for structural reinforcement or custom fabrication.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics.
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry principles, including framing, woodworking, and siding installation.
- Ability to operate hand tools such as saws, hammers, levels, and measuring devices.
- Skilled in using power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus for material handling tasks.
- Knowledge of welding techniques relevant to residential framing projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material placement.
- Positive physical stamina with the ability to work in various weather conditions on-site for extended periods.
