Overview

Forty8 North Collective is looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our licensed cannabis cultivation facility in Duncan, BC.

We are currently hiring:

- 6 Part-Time, On-Call Cannabis Trimmers
- Up to 2 Permanent Part-Time Plant Care Technicians

Our first trim is scheduled for August 18, 2026, with ongoing work throughout the remainder of the year. Trimming sessions are expected once one month and twice the following month, alternating for the rest of the calendar year. Additional opportunities are available between trims for plant care and cultivation work.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional, Health Canada licensed cannabis facility while working with a passionate and experienced cultivation team.

Duties

- Carefully trim and manicure cannabis flower to meet premium quality standards.
- Assist with harvesting and post-harvest processing.
- Perform under-canopy cleaning, defoliation, pruning, and general plant maintenance.
- Monitor plant health and report any signs of pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies.
- Assist with irrigation and other cultivation tasks as required.
- Support cloning, transplanting, and other horticultural activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Safely use trimming scissors, pruners, and other cultivation equipment.
- Follow all facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), sanitation requirements,



and Health Canada regulations.
- Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and product quality.

Requirements

- Passion for gardening, horticulture, agriculture, or cannabis cultivation.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and cultivation equipment is an asset.
- Previous cannabis, greenhouse, nursery, landscaping, farming, or horticulture experience is considered an asset but is not required. Training will be provided for the right candidates.

Compensation & Schedule

- $25.00 per hour
- Location: Duncan, BC
- Start Date: August 18, 2026
- Ongoing part-time work throughout 2026.
- Additional paid hours available for harvests, plant maintenance, and cultivation support between trimming sessions.
