Landscaping supervisor Job duties may include the following: • Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns • Hire, supervise and schedule staff • Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns • Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property • Schedule events, programs and activities • Schedule work • Plan and direct grounds maintenance • Plan and estimate labour and materials • Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work • Maintain work records and log • Tender and administer contracts • Read blueprints and drawings • Repair and maintain equipment • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality 1 vacant position. Able to supervise a crew of 4 people. 2 years’ minimum experience is required. Earning $36.00 an hour working 30-38 hours a week. Legally able to work in Canada including Indigenous people, newcomers to Canada, older workers, veterans, visible minorities, and youth. No formal education needed.
