We are currently looking for a Caretaker to assist with the upkeep and coordination at two of our properties. The properties are 90 Des Meurons Street, located in Saint Boniface and 918 Elizabeth Road in nearby Windsor Park. The Caretaker would be required to live in one of the 1, 2, or 3 bedroom units in the building The position would begin on October 1st. Here’s a brief overview of the responsibilities and compensation package: Caretaker Responsibilities : On-call assistance Troubleshooting minor tenant concerns Completing Weekly property walkthroughs Garbage Picking and lot cleaning Delivering printed notices to tenants as needed Monthly property inspections (with use of a guided app) Assisting with general maintenance coordination Scheduling and providing access for trades when tenants are unavailable Conducting quarterly furnace filter changes Quarterly furnace filter changes Seasonal Tasks: Power washing the building exterior, deck, and parking area (Once in Spring) Shoveling back decks and sidewalks as needed Grass cutting, weed treatment, and basic landscaping You would have access to a user-friendly communication and task management system for reporting and task tracking.
