Lead and mentor a diverse team of platform engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable platform solutions that support business objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and data science, to align engineering efforts with strategic goals.Implement best practices for software development, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, ensuring optimal platform reliability and efficiency.Manage technical projects from inception to completion,



ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.Drive the adoption of current technologies and tools that enhance platform capabilities and streamline engineering processes.Establish and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications that guide development efforts.Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to promote code quality and team learning.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on the platform and the business.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to pursue professional development and innovative solutions.Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.Strong proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.Proven track record of managing complex technical projects and delivering results on time and within budget.Excellent problem-solving skills,



with the ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and familiarity with modern web frameworks.Knowledge of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience in optimizing database performance.A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Nice to have
Experience in the financial technology sector or a related industry.Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design principles.Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to platform engineering.Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.Previous involvement in open-source projects or contributions to the engineering community.Skills & tools
