Position Summary

Minami Yaletown is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our back-of-house operations! This role plays an essential part in maintaining a clean, organized, and productive kitchen environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, works well in a rapid-paced setting, and contributes positively to a team-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently




Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored according to health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit and surrounding areas
Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including floors, garbage disposal, and recycling
Support kitchen staff with restocking supplies (e.g., plates, cutlery, cleaning materials)
Remove waste and ensure proper disposal in accordance with local regulations
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (including HACCP principles)
Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed
Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications
Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
Ability to work in a rapid-paced, physically demanding environment
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
