About the role:
The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patientsand families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)
is the provision of care that is respectful of, and responsive toindividual patient/family preferences, needs, and values
and ensures that those values guide all decisions. Creating acaring setting for patients and families ensures
continuity of care and fosters a learning environment. Applicantsare required to have a demonstrated knowledge,
understanding and commitment to this care philosophy.
Qualifications
- Must have Grade 12 education and must be able to read and write English
- Must have previous cleaning experience; including dry mopping,wet mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and dusting in patient care areas
- A thorough knowledge of Infection Control practices and propercleaning techniques is preferred
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job andwork within environmental elements
- Must be knowledgeable in the operation of various floor machines
- Must understand the use of computers and Microsoft programs
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision, show teamworkskills, logical thinker and self motivation
Salary Range: $26.992 to 27.366

Criminal Records Check (CRC) where indicated, to ensure theabsence of relevant criminal convictions; and proof of

adherence to the Hospital's Code of Conduct. Regular attendance atwork is imperative, therefore, all applicants will
have to demonstrate a good attendance record to be considered forthis position.
