The Director of Finance will oversee the accounting team and all aspects of financial reporting, while managing the day‐to‐day accounting function and partnering closely with cross-functional departments.This is a hybrid position—work onsite Monday to Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.Key Responsibilities and Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:Key ResponsibilitiesOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including consolidated statements that adhere to ASPEManage the annual audit processProvide leadership, coaching, and development to Accounting Managers, Supervisors, and Payroll leadershipFacilitate annual budgeting and forecasting process, including timely monthly reporting of results to department leadersEnsure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements,



and statutory filings across jurisdictionsActively maintain profitability standards and financial goals for the companyFacilitate annual credit and insurance renewal, and ensure credit complianceManage ongoing cash flow and working capitalLead and participate in strategic initiatives and projects identified by the executive teamSupport executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic decision supportQualificationsCPA designation or equivalent is requiredBachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role with experience leading and developing multi‐level accounting teamsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsProven ability to provide financial and analytical support to the decision‐making processSuperior knowledge of complex accounting concepts, techniques, and principlesPrevious experience with a Microsoft ERP system is an assetExperience in a manufacturing, consumer products, or retail environment is an assetPEAK is an equal opportunity employer.
