Come make an impact every day at Zebra.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior RF Design Engineer will develop, design, model, and test radio frequency transmitters and receiver circuit subsystems in the 700 MHz – 10 GHz range, guiding products from concept phase to production release. The role also includes proactively investigating, learning, and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to innovate engineering processes and drive significant gains in efficiency.Establish requirements for moderately complex RF design projectsComplete all phases of moderately complex RF design projects including system design, cascade and link budget analysis, circuit design, simulation, schematic, layout, and RF validationProactively research, evaluate, and implement emerging AI and Machine Learning techniques to continuously improve RF design, testing, and system optimization processesPerform RF analysis and simulation for design, optimization,



and debugDrive and/or support customer and cross‐functional issue debugging for system level issuesDrive EMI/EMC troubleshooting and validationWork with internal cross‐functional teams and external Joint‐Development‐Partners to successfully bring handheld products to marketDrive RF lab capability development and collaborate with the lab team on test strategy and new technology capabilityWork with the antenna team on system requirements, design, validation, and debugCollaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and system test engineering to develop system design, test plans, and issue debugApply existing technology in new ways to improve performance and productivityConsider latest technologies and new approaches to improve designs and their implementationReview changes or upgrades to existing applicationsDevelop new technology to solve unique problemsMay develop new tools and processes to aid in the analysis and solving of problems as well as improve efficiencyPrioritize quality and seek continual improvements in all aspects of RF projectsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and 6+ years of experienceExperienced board‐level RF circuit designer, skilled in RF circuit tuning, troubleshooting, and testingFamiliar with VNA, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF power metersPreferred QualificationsRF design experience in the 450 MHz to 10 GHz rangeExperience with 5G WAN and/or Wi‐Fi 6/7; GPS, BLE, RFID, or UWB is a plusKnowledge of RF aspects of a complete mobile product development lifecycleRF design for FCC, ETSI,
